Our Goal

Realizing that a well-balanced life demands both participation and recognition, Baraton University offers opportunities for students to express themselves, to contribute their talents and develop new friendships both on campus and in the local community. At University of Eastern Africa, Baraton we feel that in addition to academia, extra curricular student participation provides valuable life experiences and assures the development of well-rounded individuals who will benefit themselves and their chosen fields of endeavor.

WHY IS THE "ELECTROMOTIVE" CLUB NECESSARY?


  The Government provides no direct support for intercollegiate club programs. Instead, state colleges and universities must rely on student activity fees and private contributions in order to fund their clubs.

HOW ARE THE "ELECTROMOTIVE" CLUB FUNDS USED?


 "ELECTROMOTIVE"
Club funds are used to support such activities as recruiting, travel, promotion, scholarships s, as well as technology recognition awards, such as certificates.

WHAT KINDS OF GIFTS ARE ACCEPTABLE?


  Cash Gifts provide immediate help to the clubs program. Contributions may be given in any amount and may be made in installments. Cheques should be made payable to the UEAB "ELECTROMOTIVE" Club. Gifts In Kind can greatly reduce operating costs. Examples of goods and services that might be donated in lieu of cash gifts are the use of automobiles, electronics equipments and components. Gifts of Stock or other appreciated property, such as electronics shops can have significant tax benefits for the donor while providing a major source of support for the "ELECTROMOTIVE" Club. Matching Gifts are offered by many companies, and you do receive credit for both your gift and your employer's matching gift.


WHICH LEVEL IS BEST FOR YOU?


WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING AN "ELECTROMOTIVE" CLUB MEMBER?

 All "ELECTROMOTIVE" Club members are included on the mailing list for the UEAB clubs Update, a quarterly newsletter sent out by the technology department. Each member will receive club program recognition for both electronics and automotive, as well as a membership plaque or certificate..
